Ripped OFF!!!

Hello there fellow farmers. Some of you may have seen a few of my posts RE my NL#5xHaze monster. Well, this was my first attempt, one filled with alot of time, patience, and learning. As the season progressed, 3 plants turned to 2 male and one female beast. As harvest time seemed to be around the corner, I brought a good friend of mine, an experienced grower to my site to look at the trichs. This was the first time I showed/tried to show my girl to ANYONE! We waited until night fall to venture to my secret garden; 50 paces north, 30 paces east, 30 paces north. When we got to the area, my buddy said, "damn dude, you did a hell of a job hiding her!" I looked down where she had lived all season only to see perlite and roots:mad:

This was one of the worst feelings I've felt in a long time. The only thing I can equate the emotion to is a really bad break up.

To all of you who have experienced this horrible feeling too, my heart goes out to you. To everyone else enjoying the fruits of this summer's labor; congratulations! Enjoy your crop, every last gram of it!

Now I'm spending my time studying the Indoor Growing section;)

A friend of mine was ripped off this year too.....he was growing medical mj, and had a lot of plants in his back yard, some people came thru one night and ripped his plants up bad, taking some huge kolas, they even tried to pull the plants up wholy, but couldnt. they got at least a couple of pounds wet weight tho. So he is busy camping in his yard at night now. the theives left a mess and i hope they choke on the smoke.
Was a terrible feeling just looking at those raped plants. I sympatize with you, I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear that. What a bummer, all the work, plus knowing that spot is no good any more for other years. Sad.

Yes, that is truly a stomach hits the floor feeling. I have had that happen to me several times; it is one of the worst things about OD growing. Keep your hopes up though, at least you learned alot, and will be better prepaired in the future.

I once had 5 nine footers that had to be sawed down taken, I know what you are feeling, good luck inside.

Sorry to gear about this. Its not at all the same, but somone once kept stealing my newspaper. Once I put out nasty crap in a plastic nespaper bag. It was taken and then it never again.

I wish there was a way to have decoys. There is this weed near us that looks a bit (leaves ) like canabis. I have thought about surrounding my grow with it.

When I had first started smoking when growing up my later teenager years, I lived by a lot of woods, and had always thought, wouldn't it be great to find a bunch of plants in the forest....

Since I've grown and matured, I see how awful that it is. I think it has something to do with growing your own. It just makes you realize that taking someone elses stuff is WROOOOOOOONG. I'm feel bad for you, Rick. Get aquainted with indoor growing!! :) Until the Spring.
