Drip system q?
ok background time: i have grown 2 indoor crops both from seed to bud. i am making big plans for a rather large guerilla style outdoor grow. i put alot of time and effort into my closet set up and decided after seeing all these beautiful outdoor plants that i need to try it out. but unlike my indoor growing, im going big out of the gate with outdoor. i have spent quite a lot of time in the past couple of weeks (and will continue) into scouting out potential plot sites. i am pretty confident that i have at least 4 places that wont be seen by anyone. my only problem is my area is prone to droughts. i have been thinking of a way to combat this and i have come up with an idea. i was thinking of a drip system type of irrigation. what i have come up with is this:
i will bury/disguise a reservoir and have the drip tube run about 6 inches underground from the bottom of the reservoir to the base of the plant.
i have 2 questions that i havent experimented with to figure out the answer.
1. do you think having the drip tubeing run underground will hurt anything if i am careful not to touch the root system?
2. do you think the drip emiitor would clog faster being underground and be more maintenence than it is worth?
