How long is the reply delay?

Howdy mods,

One thing that is drivin me nuts,is that there's some kind of delay in replies to posts..I think that y'all got some kind of scripting problem or something.

For instance,many replies don't seem to exist,but they exist and don't show up in the thread display,clicking on the user's name to git their posts,just results in another circle of frustration,clicking on new posts,results in the same thing..nada - as for replies in the body of the thread.

At any rate,it seems that it takes several days for all replies to show up in the body of the thread,I can understand though,if yer doing this to prevent porno from being posted.

Yer thread "Unprecedented call for peace.." is an example,I replied to the thread http://boards.cannabis.com/politics/...ml#post1679799

but it does not show up in the thread and is contained in the "more replies" subsection..which by the way,no longer expands like they used to,another gripe I have..and I have found this to be happening with many other replies as well.

I just tested a reply on that very thread and it posted at normal speed, Torog. Are you still having that problem?

Also, I'm not familiar with a "more replies" subsection in any forum. Is that something that's unique to the way you have your account customized, perhaps, relating to your subscriptions?

Well I find that the reply posts at normal speed,it just doesn't show up in the body of the thread,if you click my link(in my reply above yer's) you'll see that I did make a reply to Psycho4Bud's thread,but my handle doesn't show up in the thread display,where you'll find that the display will have sub-sections of "more replies below".

I don't pay any attention to the subscription part,maybe that's the problem..I'm still using invalid thread display options ?

I'm not sure, hun. I never pay attention to the subscription stuff, either, and am not ever sure about display options, myself.

I'm not sure what else to try. On my screen, I can see your reply to P4B above and can also see a reply you made on that "Unprecedented call for peace" thread, too, before we started discussing the reply function. Now I'm wondering if I can see your replies but you cannot.

This is all much too taxing for my non-technically inclined brain. . . .

I think I have a rough idea about what you're talking about. For example, there were a few threads in the lounge showing 3 pages, but yet only 2 could be accessed. Every time you would click on the 3rd page it redirected you to page 2 again.

my theory behind that is that a third page gets created, and then a post earlier in the thread gets deleted, so it makes a third page that can't be accessed until more people post. That's my guess anyways.
