i got nothin but love for him especially since he came straight out UT with a heisman. i hope he can get reinstated soon before he gets too old to do anything. he had a fucking 3,000+ yard season in 2002 i believe.

i love ricky long time fan plus miami fan and he blazes so he's good in my book.
I have a man crush on Ricky Williams. I became smitten while he was playing in Toronto last season with his laissez-faire attitude - "i dont care about money", "i dont care what people think i'm content with who i am and what I'm here to do", "let them talk".
he breaks so many cannabis stereotypes, i love him.....he can blaze all day and still tear it up on the field, let him play!
Going to have to disagree with people here. I don't like him at all. He was a solid runner back in the day but he pissed away every opportunity given to him :wtf:
I remember watching an interview on ESPN in March or April in which Ricky Williams said he didn't need pot anymore and that it was behind him and how he was focused on returning to the NFL. To get far in his career, to dominate that much on the field, and to lose it over and over again is ridiculous. And he sucked in the CFL where he was supposed to smack everyone around.
Here's hoping he's the third string RB for some arena league team this time next year
He's definitely disinterested in the game, the atmosphere, and culture surrounding it.
Some are jealous that he has what they want, and he couldn't care less. The only reason he's playing is because he owes Miami cash for skipping out on the contract.Quote:

He is a bust in my books and people should forget about him and focus on the athletes that do positive things and deserve recognition :thumbsup:Quote:

hehehe, he's unlike any other I've seen or heard in the sports world.
Here's an interview with him on CBC: Ricky Williams on The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos on CBC
