seed sprouting question
I am doing a little test grow with a few bagseeds so I can get a feel for growing. All of the seeds have germinated using the paper towel method, but its been 3 days since I planted them in soil and there are no sprouts yet. The soil has been kept moist but not too wet. Should it be taking this long??? :bong:

too wet, even if it was sprouted, it shouldn't need daily watering, unless you're growing it in a thimble ... wetness promotes Pythium Wilt (damp-off) and seals off oxygen to the roots ... don't feel bad, I've been growing for 40+ years, and still do it ... duhhh  ... only thing you can do is let it dry out, and wait a couple days , maybe you'll get REAL lucky ... or, start over ... btw, congratulations on using bagseed  ... I bet you're glad now, you are learning without spending $$$$$ on seeds ... :smokin:
