I have bought this stuff and some say it smells like hamster mulch ..some say it smells like ammonia but i don't think ammonia is the case as it does not burn my nose to smell it and i don't see any mold...but then again i prob wouldn't know what to look for. My gf thinks i am just paranoid and she as well as my roomates don't smell anything except weed...am i just crazy ....

i dont know much about australia but in texas i have seen lots of weed that crosses the border from mexico that has been sprayed with ammonia.

ammonia is used in farming to release nitrogen from the soil ... or, it could be ammonia-scented from piss ... some mis-guided people use urine for fertilizer (bad idea), or maybe, somebody's dog just pissed on the plant ... :wtf:

Ammonia smell is a sign of mold, you might not see it, or you might not recognize it.
