A silly question
I think i know the answer already.. but here goes.
most of you have seen my setup, it's a enclosed shelving unit pushed against the wall.. it does however have a 2" gap on one side(it's on an angle to the wall for the fan and heat)
this is in my bedroom...i also have a comp in my room. is the light from the monitor going to make a difference? the plants are completely sheltered from any direct light, but will the dim glow of the monitor affect them?
I've turned down both the contrast and brightness to as low as i can handle without straining my eyes...

Yes, it could possibly effect the night cycle somewhat. But as long as they are away from direct light during the dark period, it should be alright.

And i really doubt a computer moniter makes usable light too, and it is too low to make a difference, it could be shining on them with no effect
