In which countries is cannabis legal?

Just wonder if someone could give me a few examples of countries where weed is legal to own and/or distribute?

In Germany, Portugal, some of Australia, and other countries it's legal for personal use. In many other places (like my home, BC, and the Netherlands), it's de facto legal, with the cops and prosocuters not going for possession convictions. Canada and much of Europe also alow medical use, with limited oversight of what 'medical' is.

I believe in Colombia all drugs are legal for personal use, and I think there's a similar but more restrictive policy in place in Peru
