Space is now an issue...
I am 2 weeks into flowering and have basically run out of vertical space. I knew that the plant would continue to grow during flowering, though not so quickly and as much as it has. I would guess it will continue to do so for another couple weeks as well. I am wondering if tying down the main coalas at this point is ok. I can use some LST, I read a few threads, I just don't want to hurt the plant. I fimmed 3-4 weeks before beginning flowering and now have two branches that are basically out of control. And yes, I know fimming usually give more coalas so I must have done it wrong and just topped it since i only got 2 out of it. Thanks for any help.

what u can do and i did was get a roll of twine, and at the top of the cola all the highest ones go down about 2 or 4 inches where theres an open spot on the stalk. tie it there then what i did was take a old nute bottle or a 20 oz coke bottle what ever u can find tie it at the other end, pull the branch over until it bends down and let the wieght of the bottle or whatever ur using to keep it bent over ,and it's ok for the cola to be bent down. u will see something great happen 4, 1 all the lower branches will catch up and become colas too, but also it allows more light to each bud on that cola, as u can see in the pic.
i added about a ft without adding a ft to the grow if that makes sense, and the reason i use a bottle is because u can start out with just the weight of the bottle, and if u need more weight u can add water to it.just test it start out with just the bottle and add as u go to bend it as u want it they bend alot more than u would think, not doubled over but hanging below to where the head is cloe to pointing down at the ground and over time it will grow in an s type shape as u can see.it add quite a bit to the end yeild as well. hope this helps
