I've heard this technique hastens maturity during flowering, and is a viable option near the end of flowering cycle if you need, have any of you guys ever tried?
Many growers use this method, and I've never heard of any maladies (like hermaphrodites) becoming of them. Reason being, like most annuals, cannabis is a fairly tolerant plant when it comes to the amount of light it receives.
Some growers attest that the extra hour of light helps to produce more THC laden trichomes, but I haven't read of any extensive studies that prove this to be conclusive.

not being picky, but he said 13 hrs of darkness to hasten the process. i wonder if 11 of light would make it quicker, or 13 hrs of light would make it better.
Oops...you're right. I had just worked a 20 hour day before I initially responded to this post. So, needless to say, my eyes & my brain probably weren't functioning at 100% at the time! :stoned:
