should have written this awhile ago; i ordered a light and other stuff; it took a month to arrive, stuff was missing; i've emailed a million times, got responses saying they'd ship the rest, never did

i heartily reccommend you avoid insidesun.com

i bought the cheap 250w hps and it seems ok, but the ballast feels a little shoddy; i'm selling it and if i decide to grow (had to cancel grow for now) i'll get something a bit higher quality

Thanks for the heads up. That's just one reason I like hydro shops.

I've ordered from them several times and did get everything- some took a while; I hadn't been advised that they were out of stock and was miffed about that, but stuff DID show up, and works.
Honestly, support your local garden center, but Inside Sun is a good place to get your first HID if you are a broke mofo.

I love my local shop. All nice people for sure.

You gave like 80.00 - 90.00 for a complete 250w. hps sys . And it worked . : )
Gotta watch some of the smaller distributers / sellers of this stuff esp... when there is time issues / gotta have it now . Alot of these ppl. rely on other companys to drop ship everything for them because they can't afford to keep large amounts of equip. in stock . The guy from I/S makes the systems himself on an as needed basis - might = a lil more time too .

I personaly know 6-8 ppl. that have dealt w/ I/S and nobodys got screwd ?
Keep emailing or better yet call - guy will make straight or he wouldn't have been in biz. this long , squeaky wheel gets the grease .
