I tried to meditate high. sweet.

Yeah. So yesterday I started hearin some shit about this guy who meditates and it brings him to a different state of mind and I was all "HELL YEAH, I'm gonna do that!"
So I did it.
I got some herb, lit it in a vaporizer, and what was still green, I packed in my bowl and exhaled into my sploof (If you dont have a sploof, get one, they are AWESOME).
The amount of herb total was probably .2, .4 at the most. I mean, tiny amount.
So I got high, put on my yellow pants, went into a super dark basement and tried to meditate.
Now keep in mind, I AM a lightweight, but the high I felt last night was the highest I've ever been probably.
I sit on the couch, legs crossed, and in the pitch dark, close my eyes. I realize I see colors when my eyes are open, so I keep them open. I start to make observations about where my pupils are in relation to my vision. I see tiny swirls of color dead center in my vision.
To me, it looks like cartoon people are doing swimming dance formations and I am looking down on them, eagles-eye view. This is crazy because I have never hallucinated on weed before.
Then I begin to feel like I've been lifted out of my body, looking down on it. I'm having amazing thoughts, trying to keep concentrated. I think I am in a dojo or something, some sort of karate studio. Whoever I was, I was important.
Then I layed down, and could not get up. It felt so good.
I woke up this morning feeling awesome, and I'm getting alot of work done today. Ran a frisbee by my friends house, damn, I feel good.

That sounds pretty great... I may try it tonight. I'm skeptical, but I've heard things. Despite that, I'm kind of looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing. :jointsmile:

Ive never tried meditation as you have described it but I do sometimes close my eyes(even when im in a group of people) and just trip out to whats inside my head.

Sounds like you had an out of body experience. That's awesome man, never had one before on weed. May try that sometime in the future.

Man... weed is awesome for meditation! Since i started to smoke, i never meditated sober again... weed makes it far more powerful! Now im learning how to manipulate chi, and the weed increases my sensitivity a lot, so its far easier to feel and control the energy flow.
Note that each strain of weed have its best uses: indica (couchlock stone) ones are good for deep relaxation meditation, for silencing your mind, and sometimes for out-of-body experiences.
Sativa (energetic high) ones are good for concentration (awareness, vipassana) meditation, or controlling things (energy, chi, whatever) meditation, as well as PK.
