Introducing co2 mid cycle?
I am three weeks into 12.12 right now, and my plants are looking a little on the smaller size. I'm hopeful they fill in nicely, and I have a little extra cash and I figured I would look into buying a co2 emitter. I don't want to burn the gas, I just want the system that will release on its own. How much of an investment am I looking at and is it okay to introduce it several weeks in?
My nutes PPM is at 1100 right now. My room is not 100% sealed, but I'm sure it would help considerably right to add co2?

I don't know about Co2 emitters, just grab yeast its cheap hehe. Also you are losing lots of the yield to light leaks if it's not completely sealed... Or do you mean sealed for Co2?

My room is pretty sealed, just not for c02. The door has warped a bit in the room and thats a release point... also my ac unit would be a release point. But Ive read it increases yield as high as 20% so I'm guessing something is better than nothing.
Do you guys recommend co2 boost? Seems like the cheap way to do it, I'm sure not nearly as effective tho.

IMO Co2 is not worth it. You'll need a regulator with an electric solenoid for the tank which will run you between $100 and $200. Then the tanks are about $60 to $100. fills are about $16 dollars where I am. You can also rent a tank from a welding shop but then you have to give ID (Don't know if your the paranoid type but just thought I would add that) an in some cases sign a contract to rent for a certain period of time. Also your room would have to be air tight are there would be no point. You could also look into the tablets, homemade setups with yeast, or theres even a bucket that costs about $100 that you can use for a whole bloom cycle. In my experience is not worth it, I have the whole setup and bought my own tank and I no longer use it. But yeah to answer you other question you can start using it at any point

You really think its not worth it if the room isnt 100% sealed? I supposed I could use something easier like the co2boost... I just figured they dont work nearly as good as a tank

A tank works best but is really only worth the $$ and hassle if you are going to set up your room with a CO2 system in mind, and have already sorted everything else out.

What about the emitters? It isn't super expensive to take that route... and even with a room that isn't 100 sealed it would still benefit from the co2 right
