Can you tell sex from these pictures?

I would like to know if any of you can tell me the sex of these plants from the attached images. I know the pics are not great, I took them this morning before rushing off to work. If not I will try to take better pics tonight.

Secondly, do you know why my largest plant seems to be growing up at a very rapid rate of speed rather than filling out like it used to be on the bottom. The top is starting to look stringy. Maybe I should move the CFL's up higher instead of leaving them on the bottom of the grow cabinet.

They are half way through their second week of 12/12.

Watch for hermies though.. looks like you're stretching a bit.

Would moving the additional lights up help with the stretching? And does that mean that all three look like female?

You want any low intensity or fluorescent lights to be as close as possible to the plant....without actually touching the bulb of course..

Perhaps that's why they're growing for the sky instead of staying nice and bushy.

That's not a female, sorry.
Pic 1 in the first post looks very ballsy to me. Look for white pistils sticking out of each ball- I don't see any. Look for the balls to be on little stalks, which they appear to be.
White hair= female
Ball on a stalk= male

One of the reasons those are showing stretch is that males typically DO grow a little leggier than females.

I am fairly certain that the largest one (the one stretching) has the pistols as it does not look like the other two, with the cluster looking stuff on top of the plant. I was just unsure of whether or not they were "balls" or some sort of a very, very small bud forming. Both short ones are the ones with the cluster stuff on top. The taller one is still growing at least 2 inches per day (up). I will see if I can get better pictures. I am guess by first picture you mean the first picture in the first post, not the second set of images.

By the way, the one I am thinking is female is the third image in the first post. If you view the image at full size it appears to have the pistols in question, though I could be very wrong due to my n00bness.

Male flowers also grow in clusters.
In fact, in early flowering, the cluster effect is visible in the males FIRST.
Female calyxes grow singly at first, and take a little longer to actually accumulate actual mass.
