I've been playing violin since I was 3, so that makes 26 years. I'm classically trained but got into Irish fiddling when I was 17 and have played with a few local sessions and a couple bands. I've also done pit orchestra for several musical theater productions, played wiht the Holyoke Civic Symphony for a season, and done a crapload of chamber music stuff too.
I play slide guitar on my Johnson aco. and Gibson Les Paul. I can play some drums, harmonica, and sitar.
I've been playing guitar since I was like 9, started on classical (nylon) and moved to electric during high school
Piano last nearly nine years.
I started with piano for about 8 years, moved on to clarinet (and a little saxaphone) for about 6 years, picked up the harmonica for the last few years and the piano again. Broke up with my band sorta recently so just jammin alone and with random people. Its satisfying when you can have fun playing alone as well as with others...
l've been playing sax for 11 years and and guitar for 5 and i've just started to teach myself piano but this time i wanna learn all the theory that goes with it.
I play bass and beatbox. I can lay down some funky basslines and beatbox to it. Been doing this for about 5 years. I own a Fender Jazz bass and a Schector 5 string diamond series and 120 watt berhinger amp.
I play didjeridoo. Between 1:30, and 2:00, I get pakalolo giggles. Heheh.

That is awesome that so many of us play music. Musicians are some of the coolest people on earth. Ones with soul. You know what I am talking about.
I was born with an organ (electric), learned the trumpet in sixth grade, and, in ninth grade, decided to switch from a synthesizer to an electric guitar.
