i've never used a bong before, only j's + blunts so i dont know what to expect.
i plan on buying one in a couple days, so i need some advice. does glass or acrylic affect the way it smokes? im real clumsy so i dont wanna get a glass one if they both get u the same effects. also i heard the longer the bong is the better the high - is that true?

as for glass vs acrylic, In my experiences glass is far superior to acrylic. Mainly because i hate to burn my weed in a metal bowl, it just dosent taste right. When the weed burns on the glass is tastes much better. Another reason i would choose glass is because acrylic bongs typically have carbs and there is a good chance bongwater will spill out of it if you (or your friends) forget about it.
The third reason i would choose glass is that the acrylic bong REEK, especially after a couple months and they are pretty hard to clean. With a glass bong you can just just fill it with water and drop an efferdent in and itll come out lookin brand new.
Glass is a little more expensive but i think its well worth it in the long run and I'm pretty sure most experienced smokers would agree.
Glass is for the more careful people, they break easily, unless you get a thick one, and they cost alot more. Plastic is just as good, and better if your going to be fairly rough. And the size makes no differnce to how high you get, it's the weed.
Glass does feel nicer to hold and smoke out of but plastic is ok if you think you will break glass. I have had 2 glass bongs and broke the first one after about 4 months. Ive had the 2nd one about the same time and it looks sparkling.

its up to your $ and prefrence i personally like glass but i have had acrylic bongs and they get the job done you can always upgrade and if your worryed about breakin it go with acrylic just make sure to get a slider
If i were you i'd get a glass bubbler.
