Some simple questions in need of some simple answers.

I'm going to turn my linen closet into a little grow room. I was curious what sized pot would be ideal. I can barely fit a five gallon bucket through the doorway but once inside there is enough room for 2 five gallon buckets. The paint on the inside fo the closet is a matte white, I've heard of the leaves staining paint. I would like to avoid this. I'm not too concerned about the smell but more of the chance of a fire. I could use some fire proofing/ safety precautions tips.

What lights would you be using?

Just some CFL's. Probably about 5. The space (on the inside) is 20 x 24 with limitless height.

You're going to need more than 5 CFLs to start a fire, unless you have no ventilation and like to hang them close to gasoline drenched clothes.

Then again, what wattage are they?

And have you considered asbestos-based flat white paint? ;)
