Been out of the loop for 20 years, and come next spring, I'll be growing outdoors. Question - should i purchase my seeds now, and will they keep in the fridge/freezer until spring, or should I wait until winter is almost over and then order?
Thanks guys. I never grew much way back when (in Noah's day), I mostly just purchased.
However, I have no connects, and I remember the DRY times, when my connect was out - ALL OF THEM.

Hon, I always purchase seeds during high mail times (Mother's day, Xmas, etc) to lessen the chances of my particular package being inspected. Seeds normally sit dormant during the winter months, so the timing of your buy, as long as the seeds are kept cool, isn't that important. Just stash the seeds in the veggie crisper until spring. And there are no dumb questions!- Granny:hippy:
Thanks, Granny, I guess I could be considered Grandpa, LOL. I'm 50, and have got all 6 of the seedlings grown and flowered, now it's time for Grandma and I to play. I'm having a VERY HARD time with finding anyone who sells around here (small town, everyone knows everyone - except me - and I am afraid to ask anyone - due to my job), so I'm going out on my own come spring, I thought I remembered reading somewhere just to keep the seeds cool, and they'd be fine. Thanks for the confirm!
So I guess I'll cruise the seed sites until around the first week in December or so, then place my order. Gives me time to find the best seeds/lowest prices!
In place of the wicked wacky weed, I have been mail ordering the no prescription needed overseas pill sites, LOL. The ones from India are made well, and do a great job! Two 10MG Valiums and I'm good to go, ya know? What can I say, I have been straight WAY TOO LONG. I have also found the Tramadol/Ultracet to work real nice (like barbs of old) at about 2 200MG tabs a pop. I thoroughly enjoyed the ZZ Top concert a week ago Friday on 'em, LOL.
It's funny. I've recently purchased a BC Vaporizer, papers, clips, stones, a bubbler, and a regular pipe, and they have yet to see the first wacky tabacky, LOL....

Since you mention meds, you might want to visit treatingyourself.com a Canadian medical site. The crowd there is older than most MMJ sites, so you might enjoy it. - Granny:hippy:
since condensation and moisture can accumulate, always place your seeds in a bottle with rice added ... the rice will absorb any moisture, and kept in the refrigerator (not freezer), can stay viable for years ... (freezing is not advised, if they are not 100% dry, they will freeze, and burst) ... :smokin:

Old Stoner, in your search for a seedbank, don't overlook Hemp Depot. Some of their seeds are pricey, but others aren't so bad. Thanks to a suggestion from Image Reaper, I now have a grow started with Joey Weed seeds form Hemp Depot. They ship with good stealth and in a timely manner. Again, as your doing your research, DO consider the remarks of people that have ordered from a given seed bank, regarding how long it took them to get their beans. Personally, I don't like to send my money anywhere and wait for a month or more just to receive what I ordered. I've read posts by peeps who have waited for 2 or 3 months! to get their stuff from some seed banks.
I hear ya, ProGrow. I have about thirty seed websites saved to my favorites now, LOL, and one of them is the Hemp Depot. There are some damned beautiful strains out there now. Back when I was young, in Noah's day, we had maybe 10 to 20 strains to choose from. Hell, now I feel like I am 13 again, I am having to learn and relearn everyday, LOL.
Stealth is something I need, as I ordered a vintage Aerosmith t-shirt form Canada, and the Feds poked a hole through the package to look at it, apparently - had a good finger sized hole in the package. But then, I've ordered some non-script "meds" from India, and they came in just fine. Homeland Security is REALLY on it's toes, ha, ha, ha...
