Seed pre-flowers??

Ok so my white widow 5gal DWC baby is about 3 weeks old now, developing her second set of leaves(second node) and looks great...i was reading in gorge cervantes indoor bible that plants from seed(nirvana shop), show pre-flowers after about 4 to 5 weeks of veg growth..i'm curious to if i read that information correct, and if it happens wtih all seeds...i only have the ability to grow one big plant at a time (for security reasons and being my first grow i want to reallllly care for a plant to produce a monster!)...so it would be wonnnnderful if this baby turns out to be a female, and if not, oh well. But yes, pre-flowers... keep my eye out for em? or should i just put her under 12/12 in a few weeks till she shows sex then re-veg?

right now is to soon but when she have about 7/8 weeks you can take one cut from your flower, clone them and put in 12/12 schedule. then you now if you have a female. if i was you i dont put them to flower and then re-veg, that have negative effect in plant. if you want compact buds dont let them grow to tall, you want to maximize vertical growth? then put your plant to force flower when she have about 8 weeks.

well i want to know if seed pre-flowers are still going to be visible? gorge cervantes grows a lot of weed..so im assuming he's right

you see the pre-flowers after 4 weeks in veg, or you can force them to flower soon, you see the pre-flowers in the internodes. and to get seed you have to polinate one male with one female. is this you need to know?

yes, i just wanted to double check that plants from seed and not from clone actually show pre-flowers. clone plants do not show pre-flowers apparently, or am i mistaken?

of course clone plants show pre-flowers, if not where the buds grow?
one plant grow from seed if you take one clone from that plant he growth like the mother and show pre-flowers male or female some times show both (hermophrodite). so you can wait until 4 or 5 weeks veg, and your plant show you pre-flowers. or you can force flower now and the plant show the sex, to do that put the plant on 12/12 cycle and he/she show up pre-flowers for sure.

probably because people dont clone males, only females, so the preflowers are pretty much useless unless it underwent a lot of stress and hermied

how you know if they are male before the clone from mother plant show you the sex? only if you can predicte the future. if you have a mother plant they can´t go into flower, so sometimes people clone males and then kill the clone and the mother when discover they are a male.

I have grown strains that quickly show pre-flowers while still fairly young, in 18/6 vegetation ... but, I've usually had plants NOT show pre-flowers until after several days in the 12/12 flowering cycle ... just depends on the plant ... :smokin:
