screen idea

im trying to make a piece,and cant find anything to use for a screen,would steel wool work? if i just kinda shoved it down the tube? basically all it is is a metal pen tube with a socket.

for my first bowl i used wire cutters to cut a screen out of a boom box speaker. but you could just put a little rock in that covers most of the hole

steel wool is highly flammable :wtf:

I have used a tab from a soda can in the past

I wonder if these are safe to smoke out of.. it's wire mesh to catch hair in a bath tub.

The best way to go (if you can) is go to your local hardware store and ask for wire mesh that can be easily cut by scissors.

thats pretty inconvenient. just smash an earbud from an ipod headphone and use that screen. cut it to your desired size. Also, put a flame to it for about 10 secs. it gives off black smoke at the start.

Well if you have metal filters for your sinks just take that out and use it.if not just use a piece of screen of a window.

I second that. Just look for any old pair of headphones, they almost always have a screen like that. Make sure to burn it like Stumps said.

Id go for the aeriators in your faucets, they are pretty durable. What are you using for the acual peice?
