Boston Hempfest

This will understandably be moved to a different forum I'm sure but while it's actually getting exposure..

I was lookin for anyone who may have gone to a Boston Hempfest at some point or maybe heard about it or whatever. I'm new to the area (college) and me and a couple friends were gonna go check it out. Just curious as to what the burn policy over there.. like any tolerance or what? I mean I will NOT be buying anything and definitely NOT selling anything but if I keep it to some joints and other paper am I cool?

I will not be carrying anything on me- no bud, papers, lighters, or paraphenalia of any sort.

Use your head everyone- Cannabis is illegal in Massachusetts. The mounted police will no doubt be there as they are even when there ISN'T a festival on the Common. It's right at the State House and security is always tight.
I am going to show my support for the decrim cause, listen to some live music, and check out vendors.
I'll be doing my smoking elsewhere!

it's just like anyother event. just don't be stupid about it. don't bring alot, don't bring pipes, bongs, glass of anykind (sux if they catch you they'l break your pipe in front of you). roll evrything first, don't smoke at the statue, smoke in the crowd by the stage, and move arround while you do. there will be staties roaming through randomly. fortunatly they are easy to spot due to the LARGE brimed hat they wear. there are numerous off duty cops that sit and wait for someone to bust. the last time i went they tackled a guy, ran his pockets, gave him all sorts of shit, and he wasn't even carrying.

mabey we should try and meet up, like say by the statue, or on the other side of the fountain. is it this weekend?

it is gonna be fun..I wish I was going to be there.

I am going-but not bringing anything either. I mean in all honesty maybe a joint or two tops and I would never burn in public, unless like @ night on the beach...I mean there are certain scenarios you can, and do, burn in public, but I would think this WOULDN'T be one of them.

I have always wanted to attend something like this and the closest I've come and it's not close really @ all, is a dead concert.

I am hoping the atmosphere is similar b/c it was very cool. I am just hoping to meet some cool, like minded people and thats about all.

Maybe a look in the recipe dept. could help some folks with this dillema! Good Idea though:D Maybe WH has a recipe that could get me high? I have NEVER felt worth-while results from ANY edibles! I think it may be a personal issue, but am still very curious why I've tried SO MANY foods that dont get me high? Could I have been so high I forgot the additives?:D
