BIG Room ... how much light?

How many watts would you reccomend for 448 sq feet of flower space?

the rule most people use is 40 watts pq foot that mean you would need 17920 watts total thats 18 1000 watt hid lights how many plants are you gonna grow and what type of method are you using

ok lets see when i used to grow sog i used 6 plants each sq foot so 320 divided by 6 is 53.3 so you have 448 sq feet available that mean you could grow a whopping total of 2688 plants omg thats a whole bunch there is this strain called lowryder that would be perfect for ya though i have know idea were you could get 6000 seeds at you could make a smaller room to grow in or just grow that much plants if you need anymore help just say the word:thumbsup:

Alright. This is no small feat. Are you really prepared to have 320 clones go into this room? I dont think you would be on here asking about lights if you had enough mothers to produce 320 clones.

I have 36 DWC Buckets full of Hash Plant Mothers

This is a vertical sog style grow. Its a 10x10 foot mother room but with the vertical system I have it produces 448 square feet withr oom to walk. I could jam more plants but I dont want to. The net pots would be spaced 5.5. nches apart and have 1.5 feet of vertcal growth but even more since they can grow 2.5 feet at an angle before they would burn from light. I was just trying to see what the watt per square foot rule was becuase this is my first large set up. Vertical light is much more effective becuase it reaches the whole plant and not just the canopy so I am assuming 10,000 watts would be ideal considering Its been done with 6000w in the same setup and produced an ounce a plant.
