Hey guys, i need major advice... (HELP)

Ok, my story is pretty short and sweet so those of you that don't like to read the full length detailed stories don't have to worry here, lol. But ok, it starts off with how my gf has this job at a richie site which is like a resort for all the rich people to go and relax and blow their money on booze and woman. Well my girl friend that i have been with for a good time now has been working there for about 3 weeks i'd say. There is a guy there that she works with named let's say, "T". Well everytime i see her going into work (i take her to work) this guy T is always waiting for her by the entrance where she always goes in every morning. He has this look as if he likes her. I mean she says they are just "friends" and that they "work good together". What the hell is that? In her mind they can be just friends but in his mind they can be more than that. What do you people think? Do you guys think he likes her and she knows it but is just telling me those things to try and get me off the subject? Or are they really just "friends" and don't like eachother at all? I have no clue right now and it's driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks for taking the time and reading what i had to say and get off of my chest.

Nobody here has more information than you, sorry man. You're the only one who's personally seen how they interact. But you gotta remember that jealousy can conjure the worst ideas in your head, and that your gf is inevitably going to have male friends. If she's in love with you, or at least loyal to you, she'll shoot him down when and if he asks her out. If she doesn't, then she's going to cheat on you sooner or later anyway. It's inevitable that guys are going to hit on a pretty girl, it's up to her to stay true to you. If she doesn't, you didn't need someone like that in the first place.

Like Gandalf said, without knowing any of y'all, it's impossible to say anything for sure. But here's my 2 cents.

Anything is possible... worst-case scenario is, they are having an affair & knockin' boots whenever they get a chance. I say this not to bum you out, but just to put it out there. It would totally suck if that were the case, & it would really really hurt, but again there are far more horrible things in life. If you find out your lady is indeed cheating on you, then that's the end of that, she wasn't right for you & blah blah blah.

Best-case scenario is that they are, as she says, just good friends, & there is no attraction on the part of either of them. I'm a chick & I've had a lot of purely platonic male friends. That seems a little more likely to me than the worst-case scenario.

Now, in my humble opinion, it sounds like dude *might* have a little crush on your gf, especially if he's single. Everybody wants to taste the forbidden fruit, y'know? If this is the case, then your girl may or may not be aware of it. I can't always tell if somebody is interested in me; lots of factors go into one's perception of others' feelings & attractions. It's entirely possible to be blind to someone else's affection. And, like you said, she may be denying it just to get you to shut the fuck up. Odds are, she has eyes only for you & doesn't find this situation even worth discussing.

So, my advice is, don't stress about it. So what if some guy has the hots for her? As long as he's not seriously stalking her, it's not worth worrying about. Of course you're going to feel possessive & jealous; the important thing is not to let these feelings take over. There are few things more annoying than the over-protective boy(or girl)friend, & for most people, insecurity is a major turn-off. Just imagine you were in your girlfriend's position... how would you want her to respond?

I want to reiterate that jealously is poison. Especially if you let that fear take over your mind. The best way to combat is be yourself. Just have some fun with your gf. After all, that's why you are together. Don't forget the good times, and don't let yourself get poisoned with "possibilities."

If she's going to cheat on you, she'll do it regardless whether the dude likes her or not. I been that dude, and well, let's say it has a happy ending for me. She wouldn't be the one for you anyway. But don't throw poison in the well to perpetuate it.

first off if she knew it bothered u then she would'nt hang around with him if she cared for u. and of course he is tryin to get in her pants and she knows this girls always knows when a guy starts sniffin around how does she act when u ask her about him i good plan is to tell her since he's her friend say lets take him out with us sumtime and see what she says if somethings going on she would try not to do it and if so take him out with u and see how they act together.and most of the time girls like to have options to fall back on so thats what i'd suggest u do u need to see them together for a period of time and im betting she'll not want to do it as im sure he flirts with her all day at work
