Ashamed?

Have you ever been called a pothead? If so are you ashamed of being called that?

I personally don't care. I actually find it funny and proud to be a pothead. I just laugh and shake my head when somebody calls me it. :jointsmile:

by friends but joking around...younger brother calls me a stoner but with respect so im cool with it

if any1 tries to put me down cuz i smoke, or looks down on me cuz i do, or calls me a pothead, ill take pride in it no matter what, weed is more than a drug, or something that makes you high, its a way of life, get it? their jsut too square to understand, id never be ashamed, i take pride in my cannibis

Using cannabis itself doesn't make a person evil. But if I am overusing or it becomes a "theme" of my lifestyle then I think that someone calling me a pothead then would be justified. I wouldn't like it if anyone called me a pothead because it signifies immaturity, overindulgence, and irresponsibility. My life is so much more than just using cannabis and I don't want a label that's so superficial and transistory.

i prefer to go by stoner..and if someone has a problem with it , then its mr.stoner to them, haha no but forreal...i dont like the negative stereotype that comes with being a pothead...people assume ur stupid and a loser...well i am a pothead but i do not being called that by any one other than other smokers or my friends...because i look at like this if ur calling me that and u dont smoke or ur not close to me...then its meant to be a putdown...and thats in the same category as racial terms, terms of sexuality, terms of class.etc
