Embarassing noob question
Been smoking for about two years but somehow only ever used a bong twice in that whole time.
Bought myself one day and got free gauzes with it but I'm not entirely sure where they go. Am I supposed to cut them to size and put them in where the bowl screws to the pipe or bend them and stuff them into the top of the bowl. Or something completely different.
tbh, I'm not even 100% sure why you need them, I assume its to stop your bud falling through into the water.
Also, I got 5 gauzes in the pack, does that mean I'm supposed to change them every so often or are they just the kind of things that are easy to lose.
Can you guys show me the light? (No pun intended)

You shouldn't have to bend or cut them unless they a too big. They go at the bottom of the bowl Like:

The bold line is where your screen should go.

well the ones I have are flat circles and the bowl is.....well....bowl shaped so they dont sit snugly inside it at all. Plus it falls out every time I have to empty the bowl.

yea man u just have to bend them into the bowl. if it still falls out just put a little bit of super glue on the sides of the gauze, remember to wait for it to dry completely before smoking. you only have to change them if u want to keep it clean. happy blazing:jointsmile:

No super glue. Put the screen in the bowl if the hole at the bottom is bigger then a small bud.

dont put super glue into an area where you will be inhaling things haha.
those screens wont fit too snuggly, nor will stay in all the time, the more resin that builds up in your bowl, the more likely the screens are to stay put (stiiiiicky resin!) what i did, is i took the screen, put it in the bowl, and used the eraser side of a pencil to push it down and get it conformed, but like i said... wait till you have enough resin in the bowl to where the screen will stay put as you cashed out the ashes.
