mold on those pics? What to do?

Hi,

Its my first time growing and I managed to get a Lowrider2 plant to finish withouth problems...until now!
I harvested the plant 1 week ago and i dried the plant by hangin it upside down in a dark closet with a ventilating fan on low speed (to avoid fast drying)

Now after this 1 week I cut the lil buds from the stems and I think i found mold on the top buds. It looks like a spider web.

Now the affected buds are cut in little pieces (0,2 inches) and are in front of a big fan at max speed. After I cut them it looks like the mold dissapeared..but I think its because i handled the buds with my fingers and the scissors

What can I do? Is it any way to get rid of this mold? And after all since the yeld its not so bid and the mold affected like 40% of the yeld is it OK to smoke it after it is completely dry?

The buds are like 1 inch cubic if I can say so..(so you can imagine the bud size) and they are like 20-30% affected by this what I call it mold

Is that spidermites with those little webs?

I wasnt able to see spidermites on those buds in the pics.
What I can tell for sure is that I saw signs of spidermited in the last week before harvest. (white spots on the leaves) Since it was her last week it didnt bothered me too much.

Now the question is: Is that stuff on the buds a spider web or is it mold??
I heard mold can be unhealty to smoke..but if it is a spider web I wont refuse to smoke it..:)

Let folks with more experience give you their opinion rather than mine but it certainly is suspicous if you know you had them and now here are a bunch of webs or things that certainly look like webs to me.

No, no smoking any mold or fungus stuff.....spider mites....that would scare me but I honestly have no idea how "medically dangerous" it would be to smoke them....what if they got loose and started multiplying in your lungs.... :eek: (j/k)

next time use more fans, a dehumidifer whatever it takes to lower the humidity

Yes thats what I've heard that mold is dangerous..but some ppl told me it is spider web..maybe from spidermites?

So I would like somebody that really knows about it or maybe somebody that had this problem let me know if it is mold or spider webs..
I have some best quality pics (4mega each) if someone can help I can send him the pics to make a real good zoom or something

Its actually looks like you have the left over webbing of mites more than it looks like mold.

Just a 2 cent thing here.. Mold inhaled as living spoors is a bad thing. But consider that when you stick a flame to it it dies very fast. Dead mold spores won't hurt you. Ive smoked molded dope many times in my life and I'm still here so far and my lungs are in pretty good shape ( its the rest of me thats screwed up) .

Keep in mind I'm a hillbilly boy that sticks a hunk of meat on a stick and holds it over a fire and eats unwashed tomatoes right off the plant so I'm not all that concerned about a sterile world of life

I go by the view if you spend you life avoiding all the bad stuff you become systemically weakened and when something comes along it grabs you by the balls hard, where as us fellers that drop that steak on the ground and just wipes it on your pant leg before you eat it tend to build against attacks of the rulers of this planet. The little unseen that flutter about you ..

well i cant really tell if it looks like mold but ive smoked prob 3 ounces of moldy bud in my life time and im still here:thumbsup: but i would still smoke out of a bong but the look like little webs so it could be from those pesky spider mites

HAHA..Im the same ..here on Russia you dont even have a good Hospital to treat yourself...so Im not that kind of guy that keeps himself STERILE..

I reach the conclusion that it might be webs but I will smoke those buds with a BONG to be 100% safe
