Hello Fellow Growers

Currently I am doing my first cfl grow of bag seed, and making a ton of mistakes. LOL. But that the point of learning, right!

Right now I have about 6 plants going(unfortuneately all males), and they are about 2 weeks until harvest. So I want to start another grow soon. I was thinking of buying a 400w light unit from Home depot, and buying a 400hps bulb online. Has anyone done this before? I have a limited budget for this next grow, and I thought this avenue would be the cheapest.

Any thoughts or comment would be appreciated.

FYI, you probably can't get the 400-watt HPS lights at home depot. The bulbs, yes, the lights, no. For cheap grow lights, try High Tech Garden Supply.

6 males and not a single female? That's 1 in 64. Are you sure they're all male?

I had 5 of 5 males once. That was the worst luck I've ever had to date. I still haven't even planted the other 5 seeds that came in the pack (Blue Mystic) because I was so pissed off.
