does anybody know anything about green lights not affecting a plant while in its dark cycle??
green lights are fine
Don't trust your plants to this myth.
There is a particular color of green light that will not affect plant growth.
It is NOT the same color as the green party bulbs that are sold in stores.
Unless you know the frequency needed (I don't), the bulb you have or can get is probably not the right one.
Don't do it.
thanku, i have a plant 3 weeks into flowering with a green party bulb sitting in the grow room right now, if by any chance u would happen to stumble across the proper green frequency or find a bulb w/ the required frequency i would greatly appreciate if u would share that info with me.. thank u :hippy:
Thank you for asking this question....I will NEVER sneak a peek using my green party light again. I read about the green light myth and believed it. I have learned my lesson!
Cheers! WWW
don't know how much good this info will do: I'm looking at a wavelength graph in the 'Deluxe Marijuana Growers Guide', by Mel Frank ... the graph is in 'nanometers', not K-values ... but, looking at it, plant photosynthesis is at a Low around 525-625 nanometers, and the chlorophyll synthesis has a Low around 475-625 nanometers ... all that jibberish on the graph, amounts to very low responses from the upper blue frequencies, to the orange spectrum, (pretty wide range), including blue, green, yellow, and orange ... if that is accurate, the full range of green lightwaves should be pretty much 'invisible' to the plant, a comment I have read before, in grow guides (but, those writers smoke pot, so take it with a grain of salt) ... too much thinking, I need another bowl :rastabong:
