2 rooms - 1 AC
im posting this in the advanced section mainly because i dont believe many people who arent 'advanced' would run a 2 room set up on a flip with AC and Co2 etc. i have seen many different ways of setting up a 2 room 1 AC system but i personally have no experience with 2 rooms 1 AC. this is why im here. 2 rooms. side by side. AC is water cooled unit. can AC be stationed in just 1 of the rooms but cool the 2 with a system of electric dampner units? what size dampner if so? 6"? 8"? what is the best and most efficient way to cool 2 rooms that are side by side with one thermoplus unit? the unit is a 5ton btw.

You are way beyond your abilities Grasshopper. You have several choices....
2 window shakers
A 2 cassette mini-split
A couple of years in school or vo-tech to design and install your own system
talk to a local HVAC tech
Before trying to use your existing unit, you need to know the capacity(btu) volume of airflow(cfm), fan curve charts, static pressures(design and measured), actual heat load(btu), current and desired RH, current and desired temperature, and a whole bunch of other stuff if you want to do it right.

you might have misunderstood me. let me rephrase. lets say one room has been up and running trouble free with the 5ton (60 000) btu AC unit and all other related equipment for a considerable time with no problems. since the unit is cooled by water the unit sits in the room. no need to exhaust any hot air from the ac unit. room is a CGE room with CO2. now a second room right beside the first one is to be used for the same purpose. it has its own CO2 supply and the ballasts are now on a flip. what is the best way to try to keep the AC unit in the original room...but when the lights flip...have it cool the second room...but not the original.

A 5 ton?? stand alone system?? In a normal home that would be good for roughly 3000 - 3500sqft. You are looking at 2,000 cubic feet of air per minute from that unit. The *MINIMUM* duct size coming for 5 tons is 24" x 24"(square, not round)...do the cross section math. You will need to have 2 very large dampers...one for RA, the other for Supply. Reguardless of heat load, if you try to run it with a single 6 or 8 inch duct, it will be extremely loud and immediately start freezing the coils because of the of the severe restriction. Running 2 zones is the easy part... go get yourself a ductulator and go from there
