caught for personal use cultivation???

since this grit weed is a serious health risk, i have decided to grow my own. :)

what do you think would be the penalty if someone in the UK were growing 6 plants (3 veg, 3 flowering) for personal use?

i would be using soil, so it's not "sophisticated" as the UK courts like to call it ;)

i appreciate that it depends on the judge and lots of other factors, but if anyone knows anyone who has got busted for a similar offence i would appreciate to know how they got on.

but thedapper1, you're saying i'd get 4 years in prison for 6 plants??? i've heard about people with 800 plants getting 4 years.... but 6 plants? i'd have guessed a fine and community service myself, but then again this government is a bit crazy at times when it comes to priorities in courts......

i think when i have my own place i'll just use seeds, soil and a HPS light. no seperate veg/fruiting chambers. at least that way if the worst case scenario happens - ie get caught, then i can claim it was a one-time grow and that i didn't intend to continue growing after i harvested these plants.

i suppose it all depends on the judge and if you got previous for any other offences.

i highly doubt youd get 4 years for 6 plants.you mentioned going with soil as to not seem sophisticated.if you have extraction fans/filters/timers and a contactor there gonna say you was using a sophisticated set up anyway.you also mentioned having some plants vegging while some are in flower,police wil try and use this against you saying you were doing perpetual harvests.

whatever you do dont have scales as these will only add fuel to the fire and dont have any cash that cant be honestly accounted for as this will also be going with plod.also neve admit to suplying anybody not even close friends or family as this will still be looked upon as dealing.

thedapper1, could you possibly expand on what you said? i mean was he using any "sophisticated equipment"? HID light? soil or hydro? seperate veg and fruiting chambers?

sure man he was just using two 250w hps lights with the soil just a basic set up in his cupboard he didnt have any seperate chambers. keep it basic an youl be fine
