What is stretch? I read about it alot in grow reports. Is it when a plant keep on growing vertical when the flowering process has begun? Why is it bad?

It's when a novice grower uses a light with an insufficient spectrum, or has the grow light to far away from the top of the cannabis plant, which causes the plant to grow very wide internodes, thus causing the plant to stretch towards the grow light, creating a weak and unhealthy stem. All cannabis growers aim to grow plants with very tight internodes (the space between the leaves on the stem or branches) because they hold more bud mass with much less growing room. To avoid streching, keep the light as close to the top of the cannabis plant without the plant burning.Quote:

At least you have good healthy stems and branches.
Are growing in a hydroponic system or soil/soiless mixture ?
dizzy, you stretched on purpose? I thought it was bad.
if u have the room and don't mind a larger plant then it is not a bad thing.
