is there anyone out there who thinks that if weed were legalized, it would take a bit of the fun out of it?
i was thinking the other day about smoking... and it would lose a bit of its fun and secrecy if just anyone was allowed to do it anywhere. .. or at least i think so.
then again im all for legalization.. im just saying.. a different way to look at things i suppose.

what fun about being busted and sent to jail for a little pot? i understand what your saying, but i was recently busted with only a gram or two and now i must stop smoking or go to jail! their is nothing fun about that!! legalize it!!!

I dont see anything fun about buying weed. It just makes me pariniod and I get really shakey. Nextgen had a good point but im all for legalizing marijuana. If used responsablly I have no problem with it. Sometimes I even abuse myself with mj but not on purpose. Most people will abuse themselves to have more fun but then they realize its really not fun to gag and sit on the floor panicing. ITS NOT FUN! Legalizing weed can cause some problems.
Yeah, if weed were legal it would be much cheaper (nobody's gonna pay today's prices if you can just fill your backyard with weed plants and not worry about it) and you would be able to get it whenever you want, not just when you can get in touch with your dealer and he can get it to you. What I wouldn't give to live in a world where I could smack a $5 bill on a counter at a convenience store and say "pack of joints please".

i believe part of the problem in legalizing marijuana is that it would be difficult to tax (and if the government does anything for us...we all know we pay it back in tax). weed grows anywhere, practically. the government would have a difficult time gettin it all under control. even still, there will be those who will sell it illegally and if caught what happens? does he go to jail for selling legal weed?
im all for legalizing aswell.
I also agree with you tho it is fun that its illegal by the fact that its a bit of a taboo still.
But i really do not enjoy having to buy it on the street tho not that i ever do unless im in a different country.
