planting in pots offers alot of advantages.. im drunk, so lets see how many i can remember.. one, you have alot more control over the soil blend that your roots are growing in.. second, if inclement weather threatens (i live in florida, a hurricane is always around the corner this time of year) you can move it freely, even in the house if need be, and third, plants in containers arent as susceptible to fungi and diseases.. i swear by container grown, have never planted a single seed in the ground itself.. i just transplanted my 7 gallons into 25 gallons (which are fucking huge) as you can see in these two pics.. the disadvantages to containers is that it adds height to your plant, plus the visible bucket, making it more easy to spot... its a tough choice, i reckon..
