Needed: Suggestions / Ideas / Expertise

Hello everyone. I am in need of some assistance. Recently I acquired a ½ pint mason jar of oil. I have quite a few questions about it and this is kind of a long post, so I apologize now. Here are the details on it:

A friend of a friend recently made himself some hash using an organic recipe with either a European washer or dryer (canâ??t remember which and still trying to gather details). Somehow he ended up with several cases of ½ pint jars of oil and a rather large ball of hash. As I gather more details on the process, Iâ??ll have a better idea of what exactly to call my oil. Here are the qualities of the oil:

Nice fresh smell and green tint. Itâ??s very similar to an extra virgin olive oil really. When tasting it as oil it is quite tasty. Smoking it is another story. It tastes like smoking a bowl of seeds. However, it gives a really nice and rather intense, at times, head buzz for about 4-6 hours (based on several tests). You get that happy, relaxed, chill kind of buzz, amplified. Also, there is about an inch of sediment in the bottom of the jar which I am planning to strain out and then dry. Here are my questions:

Is there anything that I can put in the oil to change the smoked flavor? As it is oil, the only things that really mix in are other oils. I tried a couple of essential oils in very small amounts and it did change the flavor somewhat, but Iâ??m concerned about smoking essential oils.

Anyone have any good and easy recipes for oil? Please keep in mind that I often burn soupâ?¦ Also, I donâ??t usually ingest pot as I enjoy still being able to smoke something since I quit cigarettes. :sadcrying

Does drying out the sediment seem like the best option?

Itâ??s going to take my fiancé and I eons to smoke this much oil if thatâ??s all we do with it. Any ideas on how long the oil will keep its potency if I put it in a dark, dry, place? Maybe putting in the freezer would be better?

Iâ??m up for all kinds of experimentation, so any other suggestions on what to do with it would be appreciated greatly.

Yeah I'm not sure about mixing oils, but you should try rolling some nuggets in the oil or dipping them in it and smoking that, would probably give you a good mix of the highs. How much did that cost you btw?

Sounds like it'd make great brownies, if you ever did decide to make them.

Buy a box of brownie mix, the kind that requires 1/2 cup of oil, and make a pan of brownies. Eat two and see how wasted you get. If you get *really* wasted off two, eat one henceforth. If two's not enough, eat more! Can't really go wrong with brownies once you have the oil. I use 2.5-3 ounces of fine buds to make a 48 ounce bottle of oil, which results in pretty awesome brownies. It's never occurred to me to *smoke* the oil. Heh.

I'm smoking with nuggets and alone. It destroys the taste of my nuggets though. :mad:

Do you know which kind of oil it is?
Also it would be nice to know some more details of the process your friend did use. If you could describe me brifely how the raw weed was turned to this oil, i would understand it and tell you what is what, as well as the better way for using it.

EDIT: I looked to the clock and it is... 4:20!!! Time to burn!! :rastasmoke:

Take your joints/blunts/ciggarettes and dip them in the oil.

And make a full course meal, Spaghetti, brownies, and garlic bread, all with the oil

That's definitely getting your money's worth, tasting like shit or not. You could try using fruit punch or something as bong water, it might make it taste better lol..

You should make a full course meal like Blitzed said and invite some friends over and have a session after dinner, that'd be awesome.
