as long as youre doing something active to burn it off, otherwise you're just gonna gain a lot of weight from them
Damn fo real.... lol
The reason for asking this is because Im a skinny man trying to put on some weight and would like to take in more calories into my system
ya its good but working out is an necessity
oh yeah for sure. I use free weights... I wish I had a machine and combine both
I drink The Weider Protein Supplement Muscle Builder just mix with fat free milk and ice blended
it has protein and amino acids and just enuff carbs to help with your cardio work out
I use it 3 times a week and it works well
the trick to building muscle mass is not over working your muscles and thus breaking them back down
heres my trick;
Mondays~ Upper arms pulling pushing lower back...cardio
Wes. ~Legs rowing calfs...cardio
Fri ~Abs chest upper legs & ass..cardio
Sundays~ Pool 100 laps
and loads of cardo ie treadmill stationary bike ~10 miles each time
good luck it's worth it!

Proteins shakes are only necessary if you don't have a lot to time or money to eat 6 full meals of solid foods.
Otherwise solid foods with lots of protein is the best option.
He's doing it to add weight because it sounds like his metabolism is really fast and not so much to rebuild muscle after a workout.
There are so many protein shakes out there at least a hundred if not closer to a 1000. Not all are created the same. Some are almost 100% protein while some are a combination of proteins, carbs, fats, vitamins, and minerals. You need to do your research when chosing which one you want. You want to read the nutritional guides and ingredient lists. Some are going to use quality ingredients others are not. Look at the types of fats used and the breakdown of essential and non essential amino acids (essential cannot be produced by the body).
One of my favorites is Met Rx. An excellent product but I used it more as a meal replacement rather than a supplement. I didn't want the calories from the shake and a meal which is more of what you are looking for. In moderation, they are for the most part safe to drink everyday. You know if you are drinking 5 a day made with whole milk then that might be a problem.
tru but why would you drink those 5 times a day when the recommended usage is usually 1-3 times a day?
Figure of speech.....
