I was wondering if you made 2 vertical garden walls and hang the light in between the two walls facing each outher, you will have the same sq ft lighting so wouldn't it grow twice as much with 1 light? see below( w-vertical grow wall, L-light, |-electric wire)

there are a couple of different style gardens that use that concept. the colleseum is one of them i think and is close to what you are talking about then another that rotates on a wheel(omega) i think. both have been advertised in hightimes.

you can do a vertical scrog utilizing almost all 4 sides with a cool tube without reflector insert in the center.
read more about it at the link below.

do you think these verticle systems will actually dubble or tripple yeild in the same conditions as a regular grow?

the potential is there since you are using all of your light, not only one side of it. but who knows i havnt ever tried one of these. maybe in the future i will try it. let us know if you go this route.

would think it could double your yield , a traditional reflector will reflect the light back to the plants so I dont consider the light being wasted even in a traditional grow, would probably have to run a higher wattage lamp on a vertical grow to get similar intensity so it would be kinda hard to compare the 2 unless they were the same wattage.
