Im growing under T5 bulbs and was thinking about what to strain to get for my next grow. Im really wanting to get Strawberry Cough but dont know if it would do well under My T5 here is my grow if you havent seen. http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/...s-t5-grow.html
If you know any strains that do well under these type of lights chime in and recommend something, Thanks.
I grew under fluorescent tubes for many years, you will grow some nice plants with your setup ... looks like you need to lower your lights, though ... keep them one inch above the tops of the plants ... you can grow any strain under your lamps, but shorter, open-branched strains may get the most light, as fluoros don't penetrate well ... shorter hybrids work well, Northern Lights, White Widow, probably just need to avoid the tall sativas ... :smokin:
You don't want Strawberry Cough under CFL's. It is a tall sativa, and you'd get spindly buds, or almost no buds at all.
You want a nice dense Indica, like a hashplant, or dynamite.
And keep it short. Scrog it, or train it to spread out for maximum light penetration. CFL's don't penetrate well, but if you flower them at less than 20 inches, you should be able to get some dense buds.

If you want that sativa taste, try Shiva Skunk.
I've personally run strawberry cough and wasn't impressed with its vigor. If you want fruity AND vigorous in a squat indi package, I love Papaya for that.
