Copper pipe?

Is it safe to make a bowl or pipe out of copper?

no.

Don't do it.
Ceramic, glass, stone, stainless steel= all non-reactive and SAFE.

Qustion: Why would you want to make one out of copper any way?

Wood is good and easily worked.

Stay away from copper. Use brass instead. Steel is good too, but gets hot QUICK!

Thanks, I got a nice brass pipe now. Glass is too easy to break the way I use my pipes lol.

Is it ok to use the solid aluminum bowls that usually come on cheap ceramic bongs?

I know aluminum foil is bad, but how about a piece of solid aluminum ?

copper can give you lockjaw if you inhale its fumes, definittly dont use it.
