LightDimensions needed to veg 40-50 babies?

I run 2600 watts, really want to get something set up so my harvest is more residual. As of now I need to veg plants for over two weeks before flowering, I would like to take care of that outside of the flowering chamber and am curious what other residual growers do. Would a few T5s work for this amount of babies? The only thing is that I would need to veg in something pretty small due to space constraints...and then put them in 3 galls, which means you have to wait a week before you want to flower anyhow. Kinda stuck here.
