nah not sand just some funiture stickies they sell em at wallmart for little crafts and stuff their little spongy or soft risers for thing that you dont want to scratch your funiture. If you want free just use a build up of tape or sumthin not sand cause then it gets all nasty in their
tape , like wads of it , or you just smoke out of it and not really care
thanks good point on the not sanding...ill look for some furniture stands if not tape will have to do....
If you have a headshop near you, ask if theres any local glass blowers that can even it out for you. I cracked my sherlock in two, was talking to my buddy at the headshop about it, one of the workers overhead my conversation, and gave me the number to one of their local blowers. Called the guy up, came over to his house a week later, he heated it up and fused it back together, as well as smoothed out the base so it sat much flatter with no wobble. Only paid $15 to get it fixed too, cheaper than buying another $80 sherlock.
put sum clay on the bottom to make it flat <--- just an idea
thanks for the tips....i took some gorrilla glue and pretty much smothered the surface of the bottom....i left it upside down...then sanded it down so all the cracks were filled in......
