hair test question

i quit smoking for 6 months...not a single puff. then my friend got a new bag and i smoked for only a week and quit again on July 4th. Next Monday I got a call for a job (of course). it took 2 weeks of interviews and i was offered the job. i started doing maccujo and bakingsoda/shampoo combo and even dyed my hair and then paid for my own drug test earlier this week. i passed. yay!! my real drug test will come next week. my question is do i have to continue putting all this crap in my hair and taking an hour to do the whole shower process? it seems to me that if you smoke for 7 days then after it starts to come out 5 days later, it would just filter into my hair for 7 days. and, since i know i got rid of it there would be none left in my system to filter into my hair. i think this because how else would they be able to tell how long ago you smoked if there wasn't some kind of time period for the metabolites to feed your hair growth? obviously, i'm willing to continue but the stress is ruining my weekend as i already put in my 2 weeks at the other place and if i don't pass i won't have a job at all. please help!

I would suggest that you do your treatment again the day of the test. There isn't any proof that any treatment actually removes the THC metabolites from your hair.
It will help you pass a drug test by "tricking" the test into thinking you are clean or under the cut off limit.
As an example I will use the dilution method for a urine test. Dilution doesn't remove THC metabolites from your system. Only time and exercise can do that. The dilution method just "tricks" the test into thinking you are clean.
The same with hair. Once the THC metabolites are deposited in your hair they remain there until that part of the hair is cut off or you go bald, which ever comes first.
