Huge Manhunt in NYC Today

There was a story on the 11 O'Clock News just now. A man who was arrested around 110th street escaped from the police into Central Park just as they put the handcuffs on him. Scores of cops, at least one helicopter, and bloodhounds were used to track him. One of the dogs caught his scent and led the police to a playground in the huge park, but the suspect was not found.

What was his alleged offense, you may wonder. Was it murder, assault, robbery, arson, terrorism, rape, or child molestation? Not quite. He was arrested for possession of marijuana. Even the WCBS TV news reporter was disgusted at this waste of time, energy and money.

it depends on the crime once we find that out we can start to formulate opinions better.
