growroom desaster!!!

ok my window ac went out and i live in a real hot place so the temps shot through the roof so i quickly acted by moveing all my flower room to a smaller closet and made temperary light tight with 6 mill plastic but my problem or question is that my veg room had to be moved too it was on 18 hrs of light but the new temperary location is in the middel of my bedroom for now and since i cant make that lightproof i put them on 24 hours of light so can anyone tell me if my plants are going to freak out from the light cycle change.....also they were under dual 250w mh on 18/6 and now under 4 foot fluros set at 24/0 PLEAS HELP zandor or someone

if its just the 4 foot fluros you will be ok but your gonna need a light proof room if your gonna have any darkness

so leave it on 24 with just fluros and when everythings ok with your grow spot switch to your M h

they wont freak out that much but you really should have a designated grow room!

when you finally switch back two mh you should start it back on 18/6 and if the plants are ok size to you set it 12/12 for flowering!

i do i have a 12x12 room devided into two parts (veg and flower) and i keep clones under fluros in the same room but the air conditioner went out and with my 400w hps for flower and dual 250w mh for veg it got real hot quick so my girls are still under their 400w hps and lightproofed too just in a temp closet.... i cant sleep with 2 250w lights so there under fluros just till i get the new ac(hopefully tomorow) and seince i cant lightproof my bedroom i figure 24 hrs light better than 18 with light leeks ...........when i get my room fixed ill post pics on here thanks

also how much dose compleat darkness matter in vegitative growth??

i forgot to mention my growroom cooling system is seperate from the main house

yea i have 2 seperate rooms one flower and one veg my flowers are taken care of and still on 12/12 but my consern is my veg plants going from 18 to 24 hrs light
