got an interesting one here
A quick run down here....I have a 3'x3'x4' ebb & flow cabinet that I have been growing (5) females in (Barneys feminized sweet tooth). Use GH solutions and generally can get 4-5 oz per 4 months from this. I was in week 5 of flower and everything going perfect and went away for the weekend (you know where this is going) and my timer for my exhaust fan and water pump failed on me.
So...basically for 2 days there was no ventilation or water. I had to cut off several colas that had dried up and cut many yellowed out leaves. Anyway about 3 days later they seemed to have recovered for the most part..
So now I am at week 6 and the plants are acting like they should be harvested. The leaves are starting to yellow and drop just like it normally does the last week of flower(lost about 60% of sun leaves now but buds are nice and green). the tricomes are roughly 60% cloudy, 20% clear & 20% amber. In addition, the hairs are orange....but new hairs are growing around them. The wierd part is when I put a microscope to it, there are hundreds of little new tricomes that werent there a couple days ago (at least that I could see)
Anyway, I have grown this strain before it has always taken 8 weeks of flower, 5 days of florakleen and then harvest. I am wondering if the timer malfunction sped up the harvest time. I cut a sample last night and got a pretty good buzz from it, but keep thinking it can get better if I wait. I dont want to take it too long and risk screwing them up as I lost about 1/4 of the buds due to the timer malfunction.
Any suggestions? Sorry for the long details but tried to cover it all.
Thanks in advance
