Cutting holes in Cabinet for exaust and intake
Hey, I just got a Ikea wardrobe (shown in pic) and I'm trying to figure out how to cut the hole on top (I'm thinking it will be 4ish inches?) for the exaust. I will be using a cpu fan, specs are - 172 x 150 mm in size and 265.1 CFM to 119 CFM in air movement.
I dont have any power tools other than a drill. Any ideas?
also I'm thinking the passive intake will be like 1 1/4" using PVC with an elbow. the other issue is the back of the wardrobe is that super thin particle board shit thats on book cases.. maybe i'll just go in the side
does that all sound ok?/any suggestions on doing it?

you can trace a circle and just drill a shitload of holes around the tracing until it pops out!

it has two radioshack fans that are 3" and 4". the 3" is at the top used as an exhaust and the 4" is being used as an intake on bottom side. if i were building it probably would have reversed that.
every nook of the inside painted flat white. the back panel has a bead of caulk going around the entire perimeter. actually every seam on the inside was caulked!
oh, and the front "windows" were covered with cardboard! :hippy:
btw: if i decide to embark on another grow i might make some mods... haven't made up my mind yet....

buy a hole saw ... available in several sizes ... there is a center drill part, that holds the circular saw, like this: Milwaukee 3 In. 4/6 Hole Saw - 49-56-0171 at The Home Depot ... then,, you only need an electric drill :smokin:

bungle, if i were you i'd put both those fans on exhaust and have passive intake holes at the bottom
