which will come first and how old will the plant be? and what height?:hippy:
Mine are 6 1/2 weeks, are about 7 inches high, alternating nodes on 2 of them, working on 9 nodes high, just starting to show preflowers. 2 are definite females.
Yeah mine are about the same age and just starting to show preflowers :)
Sometimes I've had one show right before the other, sometimes they appear about the same time. You figure that alternating nodes and preflowers are signs of sexual maturity, so they happen concurrent with eachother. MOSTLY. I've had some plants that didnt alternate nodes until 12/12 also. All the plants I've ever grown showed preflowers way before 12/12 so I guess its all in the genetics as to what happens when.
So i take it that preflowers would show up be for alternating nodes?
All of this reading is making my brain cramp!
some plants don't pre-flower at all
And some never REALLY go alternating. lol.
It's okay. They ALL eventually tell you what's under their skirt. Sometimes you just gotta ask (turn back the lights to 12/12 and say please).
LOL!:D
And then they give YOU flowers.Quote:
