virus protector

anyone know any good free virus protectors?

AVG free edition from Grisoft.

Fantastic product and recognised by anyone who knows anything.
ive used it for years without problems.

Note that it should be used in conjunction with adaware and spybot S&D to take care of spyware. (also both free)
