i just used multi purpose compost,honest

after reading so much about soil and stuff i just thought that this is a good advert for maintenance free comost,as in you dont need to make a complex expensive mix.
i went to the garden center and asked the bloke for some sterilised compost.
he looked at me strange and said that all of the compost was such.hm i thought ,then he said why, hm i thought again (or oh fuck what am i going to say now) luckily i said that i had had some organic stuff that was full of bugs (cool) and i didnt want bugs in the house.so i looked at levingtons which is the most expensive ,then he said that westland had just been reviewed and it came out best value for money at the top end of the scale,
good value too 3 big sacks for £10.00 50ltrs each( i cant resist a deal i only had 5 pots) and here are the results sorry if you have seen them before.
i have 1 clone from the 2 mothers left and i have put 20%perlite in the mix so i will let you know how it go's.

Looking good bro! According to stinkyattic, compost is the bomb. Judging from your results, I'd agree.

You are VERY rootbound, which is one of the main reasons you are seeing such advanced yellowing and the red petioles- also it's possible that your temps are pretty high, making the problem worse.
On the other hand, DAMN those buds look nice.
Way to go.
With crappy soil, you would not have had nearly such good results.
Next time, BIGGER POT= BIGGER, um, POT!!!!! :D

spot on stinky the temps were high about 85 to 90 nearly all the time,but i tested not watering that one for about week before she finished,so i just thought it was that.
i will go bigger next time thanks for the advise.:thumbsup:
