Eating Questions.

I'm going to try to make butter for the first time, and I have some questions and stuff to clear up.

1. So I just put the weed in heated butter, mix it around, put the butter through one of those strainer things, and let the butter cool? Or is there more to it?

2. I don't know the ratio of weed to butter, so how much butter should be put for 1 gram?

3. If I had 1 g of weed in butter, how much of the butter would give off a good high and not a somewhat "fearful" or "too intense" high as I've heard?

4. When making / heating it, does it give off a smell? If so, is it really strong?
