First Grow Questions

this is my first post on here, so hello everyone. i began my first grow about a month ago. i started out with 3 plants, two of them died within a week. my surviving plant seems to be doing okay, but it seems awfully small for being over 30 days old. what do you guys think? oh yeah, i am giving it 18 hours under my 400 watt hps. i am growing in a 2x3 foot closet, and i have a pretty good ventilation system, so temps are normal. thanks a lot guys!!

How far away is your light? I think you have it too close but am not sure by the photo. Also.....not overwatering are you? After that I'd start wondering what soil you are using and what the ph of it is.

i like the color of ur leaves , but yah after a month mine was almost 7 inchs
so somthings wrong , watering to much ... No nutes? , to cold maybe???
